Dog Walking in Presidio Heights

Presidio Heights is one of the city’s quieter, more residential neighborhoods — and one of the best-positioned for dog walking. The Presidio’s 1,500 acres of trails, forest, and open space are practically at the front door, making it possible for dogs here to get genuinely off-the-beaten-path walks on a Tuesday afternoon. Blue Dog SF serves Presidio Heights as part of our northern SF routes, and our walkers make regular use of the Presidio’s network of trails.

Parks & Walking Routes

The Presidio is the defining outdoor resource for this neighborhood. Depending on the day, our walkers take dogs through the forest trails near Inspiration Point, along the Tennessee Hollow watershed, or out toward Crissy Field Beach. For a more structured midday walk, the wide sidewalks and green medians along Washington and Jackson Streets provide a pleasant neighborhood circuit.

Our Dog Walking Service in Presidio Heights

We serve all of Presidio Heights, including the streets between California and Broadway, west of Divisadero. Group walks, solo private walks, and dog park visits are available Monday through Friday. All walks are GPS-tracked and summarized in a post-walk report through Time to Pet.

Why Presidio Heights Dog Owners Choose Blue Dog SF

Presidio Heights dog owners choose Blue Dog SF for the neighborhood knowledge our walkers bring — knowing which Presidio trails are best for different types of dogs, which are muddier in winter, and how to tailor a walk to your dog’s energy level. Our walkers are Blue Dog employees, not gig workers, so that knowledge stays consistent.
