Dog Walking in the Marina District
The Marina is one of San Francisco’s most dog-friendly neighborhoods — and one of Blue Dog SF’s most active routes. Wide, flat streets, off-leash access at Marina Green, and the sweeping waterfront paths along Crissy Field make it a genuine treat for dogs and walkers alike. Our Blue Dog employees know the Marina well, from the quiet residential blocks off Divisadero to the morning crowds along the bay.
Parks & Walking Routes
Marina Green is the centerpiece of dog life in the neighborhood — a wide open lawn with bay views and off-leash hours in the early morning. Just to the west, Crissy Field’s restored tidal marsh and beach paths give high-energy dogs room to move. Fort Mason’s gardens and winding paths add another layer of variety. For a midday group walk, the Marina offers some of the most consistently enjoyable routes in the city.
Our Dog Walking Service in Marina District
Blue Dog SF serves the entire Marina District, including streets along Chestnut, Union, and Lombard, as well as the waterfront blocks closest to the bay. We offer group walks (never more than 3 dogs), solo private walks, and dog park visits, available Monday through Friday. Every walk is GPS-tracked, and you receive a report card after each visit through our Time to Pet app.
Why Marina District Dog Owners Choose Blue Dog SF
Marina District dog owners choose Blue Dog SF because we’ve been walking dogs in this neighborhood since 2012. Our walkers are Blue Dog employees — not gig contractors — so your dog sees a familiar, reliable face every day. Small pack sizes mean more individual attention on every walk.
Ready to get started? Schedule a free meet and greet with your Blue Dog walker — we’ll come to you, meet your pup, and walk you through how everything works.
