SF Dog Walkers

Brynn in the Marin harbor with her Australian shepherd

Brynn

Hello, I’m Brynn. I have been walking dogs since I was a teenager helping my Mom with her dog walking business. Dogs for me are family. You can trust that when your dog is with me I treat them like they are my own. I strive to make our walk the highlight of their day…I feel very fortunate because walking dogs is the highlight of mine.

Indigo

Hi! My name is Indigo and I’m a 18 year old college student. I use he/they pronouns, and  I became a dog walker because I’ve always had a passion for animals ever since I was little!

Isabelle

Hello, I’m Isabelle, and I’ve loved animals ever since I was a little girl. I’ve grown up with many different kinds of dogs, big and small, with many different personality types. To this day, dogs are some of my favorite company to keep! Every dog is different and I’m more than happy to do whatever possible in order for them to feel comfortable.

My motto is, “Dogs are my favorite people.” Since I was a teenager, I was the go-to guy for dog care in the neighborhood and at church when folks were on vacation. I’ve had classes with the SPCA focused on requirements for participating as a volunteer dog walker, which I did for a few years before joining Blue Dog in 2018. I’ve been with Blue Dog for over five years. I love pampering the dogs and give each one special individual attention. I have worked with a number of difficult dogs, giving them incentives and training approved by their pawrents, often discussing their needs and habits, resulting in positive outcomes. “What would we do without dogs?”

Nina

I'm so glad to join the Blue Dog team. I am very lucky to enjoy two of my favorite things, hanging with my furry four-legged friends and walking around this beautiful city! Thanks to all of the different doggy personalities on my new route, each walk is its own unique experience. Looking forward to covering a lot of tracks with all of these sweet and playful pups.

Erik

Hi! My name is Erik and I've always loved nature and animals. I have been working as a zookeeper and educator since graduating from SJSU in 2017, but recently started dog walking too. I have grown up with and around dogs for most of my life.

Kimberly

Hi there! I'm a 24-year-old student at San Francisco State University. I adore the outdoors, whether it's hiking, painting, crafting, or getting lost in a good book. I'm also a proud pet parent to a lab named Max and absolutely love animals. Can't wait to meet your furry friend!

Brian Long, Owner & Founder

I decided to start Blue Dog over 12 years ago after searching high and low for a walker for my pup, Blue. When I couldn't find what I was looking for, I decided to start my own company! Outside of work, you can find me skiing or just adventuring with Blue!

Claudia of Blue Dog SF walking three dogs in San Francisco

Claudia Fortier, Operations Manager

I've always had an unconditional love for all animals, especially dogs. I grew up in a household of two-three dogs, and since moving to San Francisco for school I haven't been able to get a dog of my own since I'm always on the go. Being able to combine work, my passion for dogs and love for the outdoors there was no way I could say no. Working with Blue Dog I not only find I have something to give to each dog but I also get something as well- pure happiness. I have a happy heart and a happy soul when I'm around my pups!

Rebekah Fugate, Manager

My family had dogs while I was growing up, and I've always loved animals of all kinds. But sadly, I've been unable to get my own pet since I've been in San Francisco. I love the city, love animals, and love being outside, so I'm really excited to get to work with all the pups at Blue Dog!
