Dog Walking in Mission Rock

Mission Rock is San Francisco’s newest neighborhood — a waterfront development adjacent to Oracle Park that opened in phases beginning in the early 2020s. It features a mix of residential buildings, parks, and waterfront promenades, and is home to a growing community of dog owners. Blue Dog SF serves Mission Rock as part of our southern waterfront routes, providing midday dog care for residents in this emerging community.

Parks & Walking Routes

Mission Rock’s waterfront promenade provides direct bay access and views of the East Bay hills. The neighborhood’s public parks and plazas, designed as part of the master development plan, give dogs open space close to home. Connections to the larger waterfront path system running north toward South Beach and south toward Dogpatch extend the walking options further. Our walkers use all of these routes depending on the day.
